History

The Heart of Texas Texas Longhorn Association was first established in August 1986. After years of operation, the organization went dormant.  In the process of reviving the organization, the name was changed to The Heart of Texas Longhorn Association, Inc

 The Heart of Texas is beating stronger than ever focusing on membership, fun, exhibition and learning opportunities. H.O.T.L.A. offers something for all who are bound by a common thread--passion for the amazing Texas Longhorn breed and its preservation.
